• Horsefly Lake Viewpoint Hike — A 1.2km trail from the campground up to a scenic viewpoint over Horsefly Lake. Moderate grade, short climb, nice view. 2 benches at the top. Continue the trail at the top to a rock jumping spot!
• Horsefly Lake Boat Launch — A single-wide concrete boat launch at the far end of the campground, with trailer parking. The put-in for exploring Horsefly Lake by boat, canoe, or kayak.
• Horsefly Lake Day-Use Swimming Beach — The park's roped-off swimming beach at the day-use area, with change rooms on site. Watch the steep drop-off past the ropes -- a quiet lake beach, real BC Parks facility.
• Canoeing - Campground Boat Launch — Launch your canoe from the Horsefly Lake campground boat launch.
• Fishing - Main Lake — Fish the main lake, launching from the campground boat launch.
• Swimming - Roped Day-Use Beach — Swim at the roped-off day-use beach.
• Dog walking - Tour the grounds! — Walk your dog (on leash) around the campground! Head over to the short river trail, walk up and down the 3 roads, check out the overflow, and the mini trail next to the tether ball.
• Cycling - Campground Road — Ride the campground roads!
• Campfire - Campground — Enjoy a campfire at the Horsefly Lake campground - always check posted signage for active fire bans before lighting.
• Waterskiing - Boat Launch — Launch for waterskiing from the campground boat launch.
• Windsurfing - Day-Use Beach — Launch for windsurfing from the day-use beach.
• Snorkelling - Day-Use Beach — Enter the water at the day-use beach for a dive.
• Mini Hiking - River Trail to Beach and Lake View — A .1 km trail to a scenic view point looking down Horsefly Lake
• Kayak/SUP - Little Horsefly Channel — Paddle the Little Horsefly River channel from the lake outflow, connecting toward Little Horsefly Lake.
• Tether ball battle! — Play tetherball and see who can swing the ball around the poll the fastest!
• Horseshoes - Throw some rings! — Play a game of horseshoes! The shoes are on the tree closer to the camp ground before the pits.
• Picture at the Horsefly Provincial Park Sign — Stamp your visit with a memorable photo! Head up to the entrance sign and snap a photo!
• Jam the dam! — Try to jam the little river that enters into Horsefly Lake in the day use area! Block it with sand and sticks to see if you can diverge the water!
• Animal spotting! — Spot the animals that frequent the park! Mule deer, rabbits, bears, beaver, frogs, humming birds, loons, chipmunks, red squirrels, ravens, eagles, osprey, columbian ground squirrels, and more!
