Austin's original graffiti park started on a hillside off Baylor Street downtown and became one of the most-photographed spots in the city before real estate development pushed it out in 2019. It's since resurfaced at Carson Creek, a multi-acre site near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, where the outer walls spell out HOPE from above and remain open for anyone to bring spray paint and add their own layer to a mural that's always being painted over by the next visitor. The interior building holds a more permanent gallery from more than 30 invited artists, alongside event space the nonprofit uses to fund the project. Because everything outside gets repainted constantly, no two visits look the same — what you see today will likely be gone in a week.
