Whistler Blackcomb targets November 20 and Blue Mountain Ontario is projected for December 11, 2026. Spin real wheels for both.
Two real ski seasons are about to kick off, and two SpinQuest wheels are already built for the mountains behind them.
Whistler Blackcomb is aiming for a November 20, 2026 opening day, weather and snowmaking permitting. Our Whistler BC wheel spins you through the resort and village both: Winter Ski/Snowboard Descent and Blackcomb Backcountry Explorer for the mountain itself, the Peak-to-Peak Gondola Challenge for the ride between Whistler and Blackcomb peaks, and an Après-Ski Bar Hop Challenge for after the lifts close.
Ontario's Blue Mountain is projected to open December 11, 2026 (last season it opened December 9, so the date tends to move a little with conditions). Our Collingwood & Blue Mountains wheel has a quest literally called Ski Blue Mountain, plus a Zip Line at Blue Mountain stop for anyone who wants a reason to be on the hill before the lifts open for the season, and a handful of Collingwood village stops — the farmers' market, the Georgian Trail, a Georgian Bay sunset cruise — for the non-skiing half of the trip.
Neither date is locked in stone — both resorts open when conditions allow, not on a fixed calendar. Once the lifts are actually running, spin either wheel and let it pick your day: first run, first gondola ride, first après stop, whatever comes up.
