SpinQuest secret badges are hidden achievements tied to adventures. Earn them by doing something unexpected — they don't appear in lists until you've found one.
Every good game has a hidden layer — the thing you weren't supposed to find but did. SpinQuest now has secret badges.
Secret badges are achievements attached to adventures that don't appear in the public badge list. You can't see them until you've earned one. There's no hint that a specific action will trigger one. You just do something — spin at midnight, complete a quest streak, reach a certain milestone — and suddenly you have a badge you didn't know existed.
Creators who build adventures can attach secret badges to specific conditions:
When you trigger the condition, the badge appears in your profile. It's marked as secret — visitors to your profile can see you have it but can't see what it's for unless you share it.
The best rewards feel earned, not collected. Secret badges create moments of genuine surprise. You weren't grinding for points. You were playing, and something unexpected happened.
They also give adventure creators a new design tool: a reason for players to explore fully, try weird things, and come back.
On public profiles, secret badges show as a mystery icon with the name redacted until the holder shares it. If you see a profile with more mystery icons than you expected — that person has been busy exploring.
The first secret badges are live now inside select adventures. Go find them. 🏅
