What is on at Niagara Falls on 24-25 October 2026: Frightmare in the Falls, the Trick or Treat Trail, the marathon, plus a wheel to plan the gaps.
The last weekend of October is one of the busiest of the year at Niagara Falls, Ontario. Between Friday 23 and Sunday 25 October, the town is running Halloween events alongside a marathon, with the falls themselves lit up every night. If you are heading over, or still deciding, here is what is on and how to use a creator wheel to fill the hours in between.
Dates and times can change, so check the official listings before you go. Niagara Falls Tourism and cliftonhill.com both keep up-to-date calendars.
Event days leave long gaps: before the trail starts, after the marathon crowds thin out, the morning after a late night. Two public creator wheels cover those gaps:
1. Morning: spin the Niagara & Wine Country wheel for something outdoors, such as the Whirlpool Aero Car or the walk at Table Rock. If you are not running the marathon, check which roads are closed first.
2. Afternoon: head to Clifton Hill for the trick or treat trail if you have kids, or spin for an indoor quest like the Butterfly Conservatory if the weather turns.
3. Evening: let the *Night Illumination Viewing* quest decide your dinner-and-lights order. The illumination runs nightly, per Niagara Falls Tourism.
Not sure what to do first? Spin the Niagara & Wine Country wheel and let it pick, or try the Niagara Falls, ON Things to Do wheel.
