Spin real, GPS-pinned Halloween wheels for Salem Haunted History and New Orleans Haunted Trail this Halloween weekend 2026.
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, which means the whole weekend around October 31, 2026, doubles as prime time to actually visit somewhere the holiday means something. Two SpinQuest wheels are built for exactly that.
Salem, Massachusetts earns its Halloween reputation honestly — the 1692 witch trials happened here, and the town has spent centuries since turning that history into something you can actually walk through. Our Salem Haunted History wheel spins you to real stops: the Salem Witch Museum's life-size stage sets, the somber Witch Trials Memorial, the Burying Point (burial ground for judges from the trials), The House of the Seven Gables, Proctor's Ledge Memorial, and the Witch House — the only structure in Salem still standing with a direct link to the trials.
New Orleans wears its ghost stories differently — less memorial, more legend. Our New Orleans Haunted Trail wheel spins you through the French Quarter's most-talked-about haunted spots: the LaLaurie Mansion, St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, the narrow, atmospheric Pirates Alley, the Gardette-LePretre Mansion, and stops like the Bourbon Orleans Hotel and Hotel Monteleone, both built on ground with their own long-running ghost stories.
Both wheels work the same way every SpinQuest real-world wheel does: spin, land on a real place, go stand in front of it. Neither requires a guided tour or a ticket to start — though several of the individual stops (the Salem Witch Museum, St. Louis Cemetery's official tour, House of the Seven Gables) do have their own hours and admission if you want to go inside rather than just visit the site.
If Salem and New Orleans aren't on your October itinerary, Halloween weekend is also a good excuse to pull out Truth or Dare Wheel, Wizard Says, or Wheel of Clues for a night in with friends.
Whichever one you spin, the veil's thinnest this weekend. Might as well go looking.
